Deburring, Polishing and Surface Finishing - Extrude Hone Corporation®
MicroFlow processing and machines are ideally suited to the precision spray nozzle industry and particularly the diesel and automotive industries in the manufacture of fuel injector nozzles.

The advantages of this system are:
High Viscosity machining
The MicroFlow HV machine is suited to processing multiple parts simultaneously and achieving a superior hole geometry. A precise volume of high viscosity media is forced through the nozzle orifice and then tested for flow rate. The process is repeated until a target flow rate is achieved. As experience is gained for a given workpart, the HV process can be optimized to minimize required iterations.
Low Viscosity machining
The MicroFlow LV machine is ideal for achieving a target flow rate in a single step process. Low viscosity media is forced through the nozzle until it reaches the same flowrate as a specified type of diesel fuel. Precise sensors and measuring systems terminate the process when the desired flow rate is achieved. The result is a single iteration process.
Both types of machines achieve similar results in that a set of nozzles produced today will flow at the same predetermined ±1% flow rate as a similar set of nozzles produced five years ago or from one batch run to the next. Both types of MicroFlow machines can be custom engineered to meet every manufacturer’s needs including full automation and flow bench testing.
