Firearms solutions by Extrude Hone at SHOT SHOW 2026
Extrude Hone will exhibit at the NSSF Shot Show 2026 in Las Vegas.
Extrude Hone solutions for rifling and firearms deburring will be showcased at the SHOT SHOW from January 20 to 23, 2026. Focus for this year: the new ECLINE Rifling dual station.
SHOT SHOW 2026 : The biggest shooting, hunting, and outdoor industries exhibition
The SHOT Show 2026 will take place from January 20–23, 2026, at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Organized by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the SHOT Show is the world’s largest trade show dedicated to shooting sports, hunting, law enforcement, and armed forces.
It brings together manufacturers, distributors, retailers, industry media, and professionals to showcase innovations, exchange knowledge, and build business partnerships.
The 2026 event will cover more than 800,000 net square feet (≈ 74,000 m²) of exhibit space across both venues. While the exact number of exhibitors has not yet been confirmed, the 2025 edition featured over 2,850 exhibitors and 54,000 industry professionals, setting a benchmark for 2026.
Featured Sectors
A dedicated Archery Business & Hunting Retailer Pavilion will be located in the Caesars Forum (Academy Ballroom). It will host exhibitors from the archery and bowhunting sectors, including gear, scent products, trail cameras, knives, clothing, and more. This pavilion, co-sponsored by Archery Business and Hunting Retailer magazines, is expected to attract around 4,700 buyers interested in archery and bowhunting products.
Media Coverage
More than 2,000 media representatives from around the globe are expected to attend. Accredited press members will have access to press kits, media resources, and a dedicated newsroom. Early registration is encouraged due to limited press slots.
Pre-Show Event – Industry Day at the Range
On January 19, 2026, the day before SHOT Show officially opens, the Industry Day at the Range will be held at the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club in Boulder City, Nevada. This exclusive event offers hands-on outdoor demonstrations and is the only official pre-show range event tied to SHOT Show.

Firearms components deburring solutions
A single micro burr can compromise functionality.
Our Electrochemical Machining (ECM) capabilities exceed traditional methods, delivering target deburring and radiusing. With gun breeches, this process leaves no burr, delivering state-of-the-art clean components.
Our Thermal Deburring (TEM) solutions can deburr components like gun rams, bolts, carriers, and trigger mechanisms. TEM not only ensures perfect deburring but also helps prevent jamming, enhancing the overall performance of your firearms.
Rifling expertise
Experience a breakthrough with our Electrochemical Rifling, where just 23 seconds are sufficient to perform a handgun barrel rifling operation. This innovative process ensures precision and speed without delving into technical complexities.
We can produce polygonal and various groove geometries, allowing customization in twist, groove diameter, and land width for your firearms.
Ensure the highest level of precision for improved firearm performance and leave nothing to chance using Static or Dynamic Electrochemical rifling for handgun or long gun barrels.
Highlight for 2026 : our new ECLINE rifling dual station
Last year, we announced the expansion of our rifling expertise, historically based in Sterling Heights in the USA since the late 80s ( at that time as CATION Rifling), to our headquarters in Irwin, PA, with the arrival of a new state-of-the-art ECO+ Rifling system.
For 2026, we are proud to showcase our new ECLINE Rifling dual station, which demonstrates our strong commitment to taking the scratching process to the next level in terms of performance and flexibility.
Designed to meet high-volume industrial requirements, it offers unique versatility by combining scratching, smoothing, and tapering operations on two independent workstations.
The dual-station architecture is configurable in two-by-three or two-by-four arrangements, offering exceptional productivity and efficient use of machine capacity. This configuration allows two operations to be performed in parallel, significantly reducing cycle times while maximizing throughput.
The ECLINE dual-station reaming machine also expands the manufacturing envelope with superior technical capabilities. It supports:
– barrel lengths up to 35.5 inches (900 mm)
– and gauges up to 20 mm,
enabling manufacturers to address a wider range of applications. These expanded capabilities open up new markets and promote portfolio diversification without additional investment.
The dual-station configuration provides access to three primary operating modes :
- A rifling/rifling configuration maximizes production output.
- A smoothing (prior rifling) and rifling configuration balances surface quality improvements with high productivity
- Finally, a smoothing and internal bore tapering configuration supports advanced bore geometry requirements.
Improved rifling quality
- Reduced cutting forces and tool deflection during rifling
- More uniform land and groove geometry
- Cleaner, sharper land edges with less material tearing
Optimized internal ballistics
- More consistent bullet engraving into the rifling
- Reduced bullet jacket and core deformation
Reduced fouling and controled wear
- Lower copper and/or lead fouling
- Easier cleaning and longer maintenance intervals
